2027 Honda HR-V

The 2027 Honda HR-V is offered in LX, Sport, and EX-L trims. The LX presents a clean, understated profile with 17-inch Pewter Gray alloy wheels, LED headlights, LED brake lights, a roofline spoiler, rear privacy glass, and body-colored power side mirrors. The Sport sharpens the silhouette with 18-inch gloss-black alloy wheels, a gloss-black grille, mirror covers and roofline spoiler, a matte-black bumper treatment, exclusive badging, heated side mirrors, and a chrome exhaust finisher. The EX-L takes a more polished approach through 18-inch machine-finished alloy wheels with Berlina Black inserts, heated side mirrors, LED lighting, and refined exterior detailing. Honda shows the HR-V in finishes including Boost Blue Pearl, Milano Red, Nordic Forest Pearl, Modern Steel Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, Urban Gray Pearl, Solar Silver Metallic, and Platinum White Pearl, with availability varying by trim.

Every 2027 HR-V uses a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine with 16-valve DOHC i-VTEC® engineering and multi-point fuel injection. Output is rated at 158 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and 138 pound-feet of torque at 4,200 rpm. A continuously variable transmission manages power delivery, while front-wheel drive is standard and Real Time AWD™ with Intelligent Control System™ is available across the lineup. The HR-V runs on regular unleaded fuel and carries a 14-gallon tank.

The HR-V combines MacPherson strut front suspension with a multi-link rear suspension, producing a composed ride with lithe responses in tighter spaces. Agile Handling Assist, dual-pinion electric power steering, four-wheel disc brakes, Hill Start Assist, and Hill Descent Control further refine control. Econ, Normal, and Snow drive modes tailor vehicle behavior to changing conditions, while available Real Time AWD™ can direct torque rearward when added traction is needed. EPA ratings are 26 city, 32 highway, and 28 combined mpg with 2WD; AWD models are rated at 25 city, 30 highway, and 27 combined mpg. No towing capacity is published in Honda’s official 2027 HR-V specifications.

Inside, the HR-V seats five and provides 41.9 inches of front legroom, 37.7 inches in the second row, and up to 98.7 cubic feet of passenger volume. Cargo capacity measures 24.4 cubic feet behind the rear seats and expands to 55.1 cubic feet when the 60/40 split-folding second row is lowered. A standard 9-inch color touchscreen, 7-inch TFT meter, wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility, wireless phone charging, Bluetooth® streaming audio, and front and center-console USB-C ports keep the cabin current without needless clutter. LX includes cloth seating and a four-speaker audio system. Sport adds heated front seats, orange-accent stitching, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, and six speakers. EX-L introduces leather-trimmed seating, an eight-way power driver’s seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, a one-touch power moonroof, ambient footwell lighting, and an eight-speaker audio system.

Honda Sensing® equips the 2027 HR-V with Collision Mitigation Braking System™, Road Departure Mitigation, Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow, Lane Keeping Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, Traffic Jam Assist, Driver Attention Monitor, and automatic high beams. Sport and EX-L add Blind Spot Information with Cross Traffic Monitor, while EX-L further includes front and rear parking sensors and Low-Speed Braking Control. A multi-angle rearview camera with dynamic guidelines supports reversing visibility. Beneath the surface, the ACE™ body structure, advanced front, knee, side, rear outboard, and side-curtain airbags, Vehicle Stability Assist™, traction control, ABS, Brake Assist, and a post-collision braking system reinforce the HR-V’s protective architecture.
